39th Thing - Animoto

I enjoyed myself working at this site though adding the music proved frustrating. I initially wanted to have 'California Dreaming' by North as the background but couldnt work it. In the end I added a classical piece from the Animoto site and it appears to go well.
I had to do this thing on my home computer as the work computer either blocked it or was so slow it made it impossible.
I would definitely go back and do more work at this site.
Absolutely tremendous!

35th thing - TWITTER

Well The New York Times might call Twitter "one of the fastest-growing phenomena on the Internet." and TIME Magazine may say, "Twitter is on its way to becoming the next killer app," but I am unconvinced. Who on earth has time to do this? A simple search shows that 100's have the inclination but this is not for me.
I was able to set up the task and search for people to follow plus link to my mobile phone. It was pretty straight forward but for me I am not interested in following complete strangers.
I guess it would be a good tool if you had friends or colleagues on Twitter and you were able to use it for some purpose.

Thing 32 - Online File Storage.

Brilliant website. Being able to upload and edit documents and then use various services to share them is just terrific. I liked being able to experiment with background colours, uploading photos to the doc, etc. Uploading and editing photos is great fun. This would be of so much use to me both professionally and personally. I loved editing this picture and this site made it so simple to link to picnik and then to my blog. Excellent. 31st thing - Plaxo

Today I set up a PLAXO account and had a browse through the site. It would be a great organisational tool for teams and groups and great that it links into Outlook. I found it very slow to use but maybe thats just our work internet computers (!).
I have encountered Plaxo on my home computer where Plaxo has sent me emails at the request of certain people asking me to join their groups on Plaxo. I think I have done so once or twice and then every so often one receives messages alerting peoples birthdays or change of address or new phone numbers from that group.
Networking wise for work maybe that would be great and a nice way for people to stay in touch and keep up to date with little personal details.

29th Thing...Scrapblog

I can see why people enjoy scapbooking! I thoroughly enjoyed playing around on this website. This was a lovely experience. I can see that making pages on books and information for people would be inspiring and useful. I am not sure how it would be applied to elibrary but look forward to seeing its uses.
